UnitedLayer Opens Cutting Edge Datacenter in Los Angeles
SAN FRANCISCO, CA- August 15, 2007 – UnitedLayer expands into a 3,000 square foot datacenter in Los Angeles adding to their growing list of strategically placed datacenters located throughout North America.

UnitedLayer knows that power delivery and environmental controls are crucial to the success of their datacenters. During the recent power event in San Francisco UnitedLayers’ customers did not experience any downtime. UnitedLayer has partnered with DPAir Corporation, the leading provider of datacenter design, build and maintenance in the west to provide state-of-the art HVAC, cooling tower and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) equipment for the new datacenter. DPAir recently installed two 20-ton HVAC units and modified ductwork to optimize airflow. DPAir also provided consultation on the installation of the center’s new UPS and maintenance bypass equipment to ensure the facility’s round-the-clock operation.
