Marketing Manager (MM)

Job Description:

The Marketing Manager position will be responsible for creating, overseeing and executing an integrated marketing plan for UnitedLayer that includes managing initiatives for all stages of the buyers’ journey. Working closely with leadership team. This role serves as both brand ambassador and “chief pipeline officer”, managing all aspects of the marketing mix including PR, awareness and brand campaigns, digital lead generation programs, account based marketing, trade shows and regional field, partner and user events. 

  • Define marketing requirements and lead a marketing plan that supports UnitedLayer’s business strategy.
  • Create and manage highly engaging, strategically focused campaigns that move leads through the marketing/sales funnel.
  • Measure, monitor and optimize the performance of all marketing activities.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales teams to identify marketing opportunities that will drive business objectives
  • Conduct landscape studies and provide actionable insights.
  • Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Drive the creation of content needed for lead nurturing and across all key social media properties, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook.
  • Plan, manage and execute corporate events including customer dinners, webinars, summits, etc.
  • Drive research and awareness on trending and/or effective content campaigns to help continually evolve the quality, relevance and timeliness of our communications.
  • Media campaign management. Work with media partners to develop and execute advertising campaigns and strategies.
  • Participate in marketing and creative strategic development.
  • 5-7 years of experience in company which is in the area of Cloud and/or IT/ networking systems and technologies.
  • Proven experience in lead generation and in managing marketing campaigns
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Excels at working and communicating cross-functionally, across different parts of the marketing organization and sales organization
  • Planning: Ability to build an integrated marketing plan that aligns to all stages of the buyers journey
  • Execution: Excellent project management and execution skills
  • Market awareness: Understands the different markets, buying behavior, industries, channel/3rd party implications, and how to work with partners
  • PR and Social Media: Experience building PR and Social Media plans, working with agencies and corporate communications teams
  • Writing Skills: Ability to author, review and edit promotional content including email invitations, landing pages, messaging for signage, etc.
  • Analyze: ability to understand metrics and report on success across all regional programs, campaigns and events on an ongoing cadence
  • Strong team player able to work strategically and in hands-on fashion.

  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA or equivalent is a plus
