Industry Veteran Jim Tennant joins UnitedLayer as Channel Chief

A twenty-five year channel veteran, Jim Tennant, joins UnitedLayer as Vice President of Channel Sales.

In his new role, Tennant will focus on strengthening the UnitedLayer’s channel partner presence, which includes a nationwide rollout of enhanced training, marketing, technical support, and resources to help its partners generate greater sales opportunities for organizations moving to the cloud.

Tennant is a twenty-five-plus year veteran in the telecommunications market, spending the last seventeen years in a number of management roles with Fortune 500 companies such as XO Communications, AT&T, ICG Communications, Verizon, Covad, West IP and ShoreTel. Since 2007, Jim has been identifying, recruiting and managing Channel Partners with companies like Covad Communications, Smoothstone IP Communications, West IP, and most recently ShoreTel. Tennant has designed and implemented successful channel programs that have included master agents such as Intelisys, MicroCorp, BCM, Avant, WTG and distributors like ScanSource and Ingram Micro.
