UnitedLayer completes acquisition of Bungi Communications, Inc.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – UnitedLayer has recently acquired in an all stock transaction, the boutique IP transit company called Bungi Communications, Inc. Bungi was founded in 2004 by Dave Rand, a founder of Abovenet Communications. Bungi communications, Inc. has been providing IP transit services to a variety of companies and the transition to UnitedLayer’s network shall be seamless to the customers.
Dave Rand states that “UnitedLayer is an exciting company that has weathered the early decades downturn. As an emerging managed infrastructure services company, I see great potential for the one-stop shop concept and hope to be accretive to building that vision.
