UnitedLayer expands Management Team with New Hire
San Francisco, CA – January 22, 2008 – UnitedLayer, a San Francisco based Internet Infrastructure company is pleased to announce the addition of a new member to its management team – Vice President of Business Services and Development, Derek Garnier. UnitedLayer is excited to have Mr. Garnier, a proven professional who will help guide the company’s continued growth.

Derek brings over 20 years of experience in the areas of sales, engineering and management. As Vice President of Business Services and Development at UnitedLayer, Derek is charged with overseeing business development and sales strategies, pursuing opportunities in new markets and managing the existing client base.

Prior to UnitedLayer, Derek held sales and management positions at AboveNet Communications where his duties included managed services sales, sales engineering and partnerships. He joined AboveNet through its acquisition of managed services startup SiteSmith where he was on the initial sales management team.
